Eclipse Tools, an up-and-coming tool company in the electrical industry is searching for a National Sales Manager – Electrical Distribution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring, training and motivating independent manufacturers’ reps to meet sales targets and grow Eclipse Tools business across the USA.   The position reports to the President/Owner of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Complete recruiting and hiring NEMRA sales team members in the US. We have some successful reps, some not so successful, and some vacancies around the country.
  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies in the Electrical Distribution channel.
  • Travel with and train our reps on our products and our selling techniques.
  • Work with the reps to develop and implement territorial sales strategies and achieve targets nationally.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive information to management and marketing back at the home base.
  • Run the electrical distribution channel like a personal entrepreneurial endeavor.

Must have demonstrated success stories working with independent reps in the electrical channel with a somewhat technical product line, preferably tools.  Rewards will be based on results.  Opportunity is enormous.  Heavy travel, more than 50% in the short-term, less as team is up to speed and working well.
