ElectricalTrends, operated by Channel Marketing Group, wants to encourage open dialogue within the electrical distribution industry. Articles / postings written and distributed on / via ElectricalTrends, by site ownership or any invited guest commentators is either in the public domain, is personally sourced from multiple contacts or is the commentary / opinions / ideas of the writer. We restrain from “grapevine” rumors without having an issue substantiated either directly or through multiple, well-regarded and informed sources. We reserve the right not to provide prior notification to any company mentioned in our postings.
While ElectricalTrends does solicit limited advertising, advertisers have no editorial involvement.
Comments posted by readers and information provided from other sites via RSS / newsfeeds are the responsibility of the poster or news source. ElectricalTrends is not responsible for input from these content providers.
The moderation process helps ensure that spam or comments that breach the terms of use are not published. We aim to publish most comments on a timely basis (typically immediately … worst case a few hours if we are out of the office).
To ensure that this experience is productive for everyone, we moderate comments to ensure that readers / commenters do not post any material that:
  • contains irrelevant content to the electrical distribution industry or excessive links or appears to contain malicious code.
  • includes any profanity
  • constitutes spam, unauthorized advertising or solicits business
  • is off-topic or is excessively long
  • is in a foreign language (at this time, ElectricalTrends is an English-only blog)
  • encourages conduct that may or would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability, or that otherwise violates any local, state, national or international law or regulation anywhere in the world, or
Comments that meet the above criteria are either deleted or marked as spam and hence not posted.
Comments, other than for the above reasons, are not edited by the moderators and are the opinions of the posters, who may wish to remain anonymous.
